Divine Mercy University recognizes that psychology and counseling can be useful in many situations. You may be interested in our online Catholic Master's in Counseling or Master's in Psychology degree programs (compatible with full-time ministry) if:

  • You interact with people from all walks of life and they look to you for pastoral counseling.
  • You encounter situations where skills, such as volunteer management, de-escalation, and crisis intervention, are needed.
  • You are seeking to grow your leadership skills to expand your ministry.
  • You are invested in the dignity of the human person and wish to more deeply explore the Church’s rich teaching.
  • Understanding common psychological problems and stages of human development would help you refer people to the right services.
