It's common for people to come to you for confession and spiritual advice; however, to holistically heal their wounds, it is imperative to be able to identify if and when someone is suffering from a mental health condition, such as anxiety, depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Scholarships for Priests

Divine Mercy University offers multiple scholarships specifically for priests (see below). Plus, you can apply for free by May 5th for the online Master's in Psychology degree. Use code CCMMP1999.

  • Faith and Hope Scholarship - up to 50% scholarship: Those eligible for this need-based scholarship include Archdiocesan/diocesan workers such as priests, religious, and lay personnel employed by a diocese, Consecrated Members of a religious order, Consecrated Members of the Legionaries of Christ or Regnum Christi, Members of the Fellowship of Catholic University Students (FOCUS), Missionaries of charitable organizations, and lastly, employees and full-time volunteers for charitable service organizations.
  • Regnum Christi/Legion of Christ Scholarship Program - at least 25% scholarship: This scholarship is for students who are affiliated with the Legion of Christ or Regnum Christi.
  • Newman Scholarship - up to $5,000: This scholarship is for students enrolling in a new program of study who graduated from a Cardinal Newman Society endorsed college or university.
  • Matching Scholarship - up to $2000: This scholarship is for students who have sponsor or organization backed funding paid to the university on the student’s behalf, includes Knights of Columbus, local churches and service organizations.
