JOIN US THIS WORLD MISSION SUNDAY

World Mission Sunday is this Sunday, October 24. Pope Francis is inviting parishes around the world to join in the life-changing, life-giving and life-saving efforts of his missions.

Priests, religious Sisters and Brothers, and lay catechists in the Pope's missions offer education in desolate areas, share the Gospel in some of the most remote areas of the world, provide crucial medical care to those who could otherwise not afford it and so much more.

Pope Francis has chosen as the theme for this year's celebration: “We cannot but speak about what we have seen and heard” (Acts 4:20). In his message to all Catholics about this year’s World Mission Sunday, said, “To be on mission is to be willing to think as Christ does, to believe with Him that those around us are also my brothers and sisters.”

Please help us share this call to prayer and financial help for the Church's missionary work this World Mission Sunday in your parish / through your ministry.

Your voice—your "speaking"—can make a world of difference for those serving in the Pope's missions.

This is not a mission we can accomplish alone.

As a leader, you have the power to incite a zeal for mission among your parishioners, and through your ministries.

Here are some resources to help you properly prepare, but the most essential part is trusting in the Lord’s ability to multiply our efforts and make something beautiful out of whatever we give Him.
